Something Stays

The video is a bit long because there are 40 cards! (Music: “Far Behind” by Silent Partner, “Beneath the Moonlight” by Aaron Kenny, “Just Stay” by Aakash Gandhi)

Yesterday I made a video about a deck of oracle card called “Sacred Mothers and Goddesses.” It’s a pity that I made this video at the time when I was about to say goodbye to it. Some of the goddesses’ images still touch my heart, like Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt and the moon. She is self-sufficient, independent, and she is not married. (Maybe this is why I am attracted to her.)

At Wit’s End

Although this is a song by George Michael, the first time I heard of it is from the movie “Pitch Perfect 3,” where it’s sung by the Bellas.

Although the Bellas give us a brilliant cover, the lyrics of the song seems to be unrelated to themselves or the story of “Pitch Perfect 3.” To understand the meaning, you have to go back to the time when this song was created. It’s included in George Michael′s second solo album Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, and its title, “Freedom ’90,” is used to differentiate the song with “Freedom,” a song released by Wham! (George’s previous band) in 1984.
